Your offer is yours. Here's exactly what we do with it.

Working draft. This page describes how Polsee handles your information today, in plain English. It is being finalized with counsel before public launch; the substance below reflects how the product actually behaves.

Polsee is a free tool. You upload an insurance settlement offer, we give you a second opinion on whether it looks underpaid, and — only if you ask — we can introduce you to a licensed expert. We don't sell your information.

What we collect

The document you upload — your insurance estimate, settlement letter, or a photo of it. This can contain personal and financial details, so we treat it as sensitive.
Contact details — only if you choose to give them. Name, email, and phone are always optional. You can run the full analysis without entering any of them.
Basic technical data — your IP address and browser type, used to prevent abuse and keep the service running.

Why we collect it

To analyze your offer and show you the result.
To email you your report, if you ask us to.
To introduce you to an independent licensed expert, only if you check the box asking us to.
To protect the service from spam and abuse.

How long we keep it

We don't keep your data forever. By default:

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. The only time your offer or contact details leave Polsee is when you ask us to connect you with a licensed expert — and then only with an independent professional who can help with your specific claim. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the product (cloud hosting and email delivery); they process data on our behalf and aren't allowed to use it for their own purposes.

You're in control of your data. You can ask us to:

Not sell or share your personal information (we don't sell it by default).
Delete your uploaded document, your result, or your contact details.
Tell you what we have on file for you.
Stop contacting you at any time.

How we protect it

Your data is encrypted at rest, access is limited to what's needed to run the service, and uploaded documents are stored separately and are never shown back to other visitors. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

What Polsee is not

Polsee is an informational and educational tool. We are not an insurance company, a public adjuster, or a law firm, and we don't give legal or insurance advice. Our estimates are automated and are a starting point — not an appraisal and not a guarantee. Any agreement you make with a licensed expert we introduce you to is strictly between you and them.
